Wake Forest University School of Business needed a 30 second commercial announcing its expansion into Uptown, Charlotte. It chose Spotlight Media to film and produce the 30 second spot, which aired on ESPN in the Charlotte local area market on January 9, 2012. The commercial was shot in HD and included after effects produced in house by the company. Spotlight Media has also been selected to film the scheduled ribbon cutting ceremony on January 26, 2012 at 11am.
Wake Forest’s part-time MBA program was recently ranked in the top 10 percent in the nation and the #1 program of its kind in North Carolina by U.S. News & World Report. Its new facility is located in 30,000 square feet of the former International Trade Center at 200 North College Street, and is named Wake Forest University Charlotte Center. The new facility was purposely designed to be a flexible space for all different types of learning and teamwork experiences and the lecture rooms are fully equipped to stream video back and forth between the Charlotte facility and the main Campus.
Spotlight Media is regularly hired to stream these videos, including high profile business professionals such as Jeff Inmelt (chairman and CEO of GE), Mike Duke (president and CEO of Walmart), Marilyn Carlson-Nelson (chairman and former CEO of Carlson), and Dean Kamen (founder of DEKA research and the inventor of the Segway, iBot, and many other revolutionary devices) and the chairman of Novartis AG, Dan Vasella. Spotlight will also be filming Walter Robb, Co-CEO of Whole Foods on January 31, 2012 .
